In lsmw what does file on PC an file on R/3 Application server means?

how can wer bring a file on R/3 application server?

FILE On PC means, file from the ur system, might be c dirircotry or desk top..

R/3 means. file is from application server(unix) server, AL11.

using the CG3Y, CG3Z and SXDA_TOOLS, u can upload /download a file into /from applicationn server and presenttation servers.
