We are working with free goods in the sales order and to enable this we have done exclusive free goods config.Record for the same is maintained in T.code VBN1.
Now in the sales order we have 2 line items. First line item is the main item and the second is free goods item. Sometimes, only main item stock is available and no stock of free goods. In this case the main item gets delivered which should not happen.
We want to ensure that the main item and free goods item are delivered together on a date only when both the items are available. How do we enable this.

IN VBN1 YOU CAN GO TO THE LAST COLUMN WHERE IF U SEE THE MATCH CODE (PRESS F4) YOU CAN SEE OPTIONS I.E DELIVERY WITH MAIN TIEM ETC.
YOU CAN CONTROL IT THERE ANS IT IS THE ONLY WAY IN STANDARD.

Example:
Item 10 A76335422 Fan motor 1No. TAN
Item 20 A54442281 Fan Blade 1No. TANN
We want to deliver both together , delivery date being the latest of the material available dates.

Use T.code VBN2, here enter the free goods condition type(the one which you used to create the free goods record), enter the selection criteria to locate your free goods condition record.
In your record, scroll towards extreme right the last column which reads 'F' maintain the entry here as 'B'
In case you want to allow proportianate delivery of free goods as per the quantity of main item use the entry as 'E' .
This will solve your issue.

That's not the requirement. In VBN1 the records set control the movement of free goods only and not the main item. i.e. if free good stock is not available but main item stock is available then the main item can be delivered induvidually. There is no control on how the MAIN ITEM is being shipped. We want to ensure that main item is only shipped with free goods.

In exclusive free goods both are independent items.
You want to deliver the both items at a time.
I think by using user exit MV50AFZ1, which fires at delivery level we can achieve this.

in the transaction code VBN1 when you are entering the free goods there is a tab called FGDELYCONT enter option B
