error while importing packages.

Error in phase : “DISSAMBLE”

Reason of error: CANNOT_CREATE_COFILE.

Return code: 8

Hi plz check weather you loged in as

SIDADM

&

Execute r3trans -d & return code must <0000>

apply with user DDIC

may be this works.,

Hi,

CANNOT_CREATE_COFILE : The cofile could not be created from the relevant data file. One possible error source is that <sys>adm does not have write authorization for the directory /usr/sap/trans/cofiles (UNIX).

Please also check if the R/3 user has the authority to write to the directory /usr/sap/trans/cofiles.

Can you please download the support pack again and start installing it again, because mostly the support pack installation stops at dissemble, it is the case.
