Hello,
I need to create the following authorizations based on two infoobjects - country and company code.
users can have authorization to see data from one company code with all countries and also, specific countries with one other company code... for example - company code 1000 with all countries, and company code 2000 with country = us.
In BI 7.0 this is not a problem since the authorization work in a union mode. basically, creating an analysis authorization with the two infoobjects is enough - one for each scenario.
Since BW 3.5 works in "join" mode, this is a problem. The only solution I figured out is two add another characteristic to the infoprovider - which is the concatenation of the two infoobjects - and then, basically create the authorization object two work on this "new"infoobject.
Is this the only solution? couldn't there be a simple solution to this "simple"problem?
Tomer.
