Created PO but PO number does not exist

Hi ,

Express document "update was terminated" received from author

We have been trying to manually push PO for PR 11027530 against OA 4600000228 and there's a message that a PO number has been generated but when we try to display PO via ME23, it says that the PO number does not exist. Also, there's a message that appears above every time we try to manually push.

Hi Tata,

Try to maintain the Condition record for the combination of Vendor/ document type /Purch group/comp code for that perticular line item.Use tcode MN04.

Hi,

There was this similar question yesterday also on the forum. One of the reason for this problem is number range are exhausted. Another problem is when system is not able to update the table due to some reasons.

Here system is not able to update the tables related to creation of PO hence, the error message. Please check in EKPO or EBAN tables if PO is already created fro this PR.

Also as stated above, please contact your BASIS team.

This kind of error is encoutered for one line item (line item:60), rest of the line item of PR getting converted in to PO.

Hi dear

As mentioned by one of our friend you should consult a technical guy for this.

Logically you can try this way...just try to create the PO manually using Me21N tcode using same details of the line item in PR for which u r facing issue.

Then let us know if you are able to create it via ME21N?

Dear Tata,

while creating the PO before saving it go to the Header Data and select Messages OR directly click on Messages.

Here give all the Print relevant details like Message Type, Print medium, Printer etc and then save the PO.

Check thru ME2M, give the material no. and execute... u will find the PO no. if it has been generated.

I had also faced same.actually it technical problem.in database their is no space for table then we have to extend it.

go to Md04 and check if PO is posted or not..
