Dangerous Goods Master

I am looking for guidence on how to use Transaction DGP1, i.e. creation of master records for Dangerous goods. Some of the essential inofrmation in this transaction flows from some other T code, which I am not able to ascertain.

Shall appreciate if a write up is given to me.
