We currently use some DSUM commands in Excel to allocate labour dollars by account, then we retype the accounts and dollars on the SAP Journal Entry screen.
It would save time to somehow upload or copy from Excel. Is it possible?
Dear Daniel,
Are you looking for function
copying from Excel and paste to SBO grid/matrix?
Try CTM(Clipboard to Matrix) add-on.
Just copy the data from Excel as many rows as you want
and paste them to SBO matrix.
Applicable for core and developed add-ons.
Free trial and demo is available upon request.

Can you point me in the right direction - I went to http://www.sap.com/usa/search/index.epx?q1=datatransferworkbench&num=10
and downloaded the first document, SAP Integration and Certification Centers.
It said, "To call the data transfer workbench choose Tools → Data Transfer Workbench" However, I don't have that option under tools. I am using SAP Business One 2005A.
Please point me to where I can read additional instructions on using the DTW.
Thanks!
DTW stands for Data Transfer Workbench. It is a tool provided with the Business One product and is used for importing legacy data or any data associated to a module in SAP.
DTW can be installed from the SAP Product CD.
The template for the different documents are available after install. The templates are in Excel format so filling them will be easy to understand.
Once the template is filled, you can import them. There are several document available on DTW.
If you have a valid 'S' number you can download these from the Service market place.
