Hi all

What is the difference between vk11 and vk31 t.codes.in pricing ?how the vk31 t.code is used ? what are the advantages of vk31.when it should be used? when wetry to maintain a record in vk31 only standard conditon types trigger. why not the copied condition types doesnt come (ex: pr00 as zr00)? plz explain in detail .

VK11 v/s VK31

Using VK11 we can maintain condition record data for individually for each condition type. This was existing right from older verisons of SAP

Using VK31 we can do mass maintenance of condition types.and this was added from V 4.7 If I am right. also using VK31 we can copy, edit, create with reference to etc Options are available. this is a additional functionality using VK31

but in vk31 ,why it focusess more on pricing reports and when we create condition record in vk31 , why it shows only standard condition types. why not copied condition types ? wat could be the reason ?

hi,

at VK11 - you can maintain condition records for one or more materials if they all fit into the same key combination but for the same condition type.

VK31 - offers mass maintainance facility, meaning at a time you can maintain condition records for multiple condition types. VK31 came at a later stage of sap release else there is no difference between them. But VK31 allows to maintain conditoin records only for the standard conditions.
