does CTS+ work with SLD transport targets for ID transports?

Hi Michel,

I am also in puzzlement if we could use CTS+ (Enhanced Change and Transport system) with transport targets. If in case the SLDs are different the I think it will not be possible but incase there is common SLD then that could be achived with reference to same business system with CTS+ transport. (To be honnest I have never tried this, but therotically I feel it should work out)

If possible if you could refer somewhat similar discussion that may give you hitch about it.

I am sure you will trace it out. Please let me also update about it.

does CTS+ work with SLD transport targets for ID transports? - Yes, if you have CTS+ and defined SLD transport targets, then your ID objects are transported with the target ID objects.

Are the transport targets like DEV --> QA --> PROD?

I assume with CTS+, the transport targets for DEV are both QA and PROD.

Please let me know how we have to define these.

I have defined the transport targets from DEV --> QA --> PROD. But when I am moving the configuration objects, it is complaining that the 'transport target for the development business system is not found'.

Hi Michel,

For the business systems we need to create Group and Source business system for QA and PROD in the Transport TAB.. For the Technical systems we can transport.

You will get more details from the step-by-step guide bye CTS+

Any Luck in this???

Even I tried transporting product using CTS+. The transport was successfull. Even I can see the respective zip file for the non-abap object in transport directory of target server.

But I am not able to view this product when I log into SLD-> products.

I would be interested to find out about this..

Hopefully this new project will use 7.1 and Basis are doing all the SLD and the CTS+ config..

I have every faith in them!!!! 😮

There is a document about transporting repository and directory objects, but every version I have found is corrupt - or I cannot open in Adobe...
