Hello Rakesh,

I also forgot to ask in my original reply if you are working with your own status settings, in most other cases with simular problems the cause was an incorrect setting of the user status.

Isabelle

Hello Rakesh,

could you please tell me which screens are assigned to the notification.

Tasks can be assigned to the notification header and to notification items, accordingly these are displayed on different screens (Tabstrips) in the notification transaction.

Transaction QCC2

- Notification Creation

- - Notification Types

- - - Define Screen Templates

- - - - X Define Screen Areas and Tabs

Select the notification type

goto Extended View: Tabstrips and Screen Areas

Item details:

10\TAB10 -> Here you need the screens 20\TAB01, 20\TAB02, 20\TAB03 and 20\TAB04

Header Tasks:

10\TAB11

If you would like to view all tasks:

10\TAB14 (Header and item level)

Maybe this information can help you resolve this issue.

Isabelle

what is this status INIT?

Hi Rajesh,

"INIT" is the initial system status when assigning Tasks in the notification and in my case is at the item level.

You need to review the various statuses on your notification and the current business transactions they allow. One of the statuses, is disallowing the release of the tasks for the items.

One status that might cause that is that the notification itself has not yet been released. See if they can still click on the green flag on the top left of the screen on the menu bar. Clicking on that releases the notification. then that should allow your item tasks to be released.

If that is not the problem, you'll have to look at the statuses and see which one disallowing the release of the item tasks. Then resolve that status.

Hi Craig,

My current notification status is "NOPR NOTE OSTS" and the Notification is released too.

I have created same test scenario in Quality Client also but I am able to release the Task-Item level successfully and the Notification status is also the same.

Kindly guide me.

Regards,

Rakesh Wade.

If you can do it in the quality system and not your production system, and your sure all the statuses are identical, then you might want to look at security.

The error message you provided still indicates it has something to do with the statuses. Maybe its the status at the item level? But the INIT status should not be on the notification at the header level if the notification has been released. You should have REL as a status.
