i'm basically abap/hr developer i'm want to know more about ESS and MSS, what is the abaper role in this portal based appliction plz help me to upgrade my self in portal side,

i have also good knowledge on asp.net and abap/hr

ESS is developed over EP netwever concept. As you are aware of ABAP HR this can benefit you. Most of the functionalities are developed with a thinking to provide stategic importance towards HR processes.

It use Iviews which are CA-ESS enabled.

The applications of this Business Package cover activities and scenarios in the following areas:

· Administration

· Working Time

· Career

· Personal Information

· Travel

· Benefits and Payment

MSS

The business package is designed for all employees who perform management tasks at an operational level, for example:

Line Managers
