Hello experts,
is it possible to install dot.netframework 1.1 and 2.0 parallel on the same client, because
for msa50sp6 I need 1.1 and for another software I need 2.0 .
I've tested it, but when I install it on normal way, I cannot use conntrans anymore, because the dot.net 2.0 makes changes so that I cannot import any data.
Perhaps somebody has an idea how to solve this ?
Thanks and best regeards
Gerd
Hello Gerd,
It is possible to have a parallel installation of both the .NET Framework versions.
Till 5.0 SP08, Conntrans (and MSA) uses .NET Framework 1.1 and so to solve the issue with Conntrans you can check the note 970254 which provides you a Conntrans.exe.config file which forces Conntrans to use .NET 1.1 and not the highest version available.
Best Regards,
Ankan
