empty eto_charsel ==> dispay all ?! (Variable Type Exit)

Hello,

we have a variable from type User-Exit.

The user exit fills the eto_charsel (characteristic 0material) based on product selection criteria with certain materials.

This variable is assigned to the planning level.

Problem:

In case that no material for a certain product was found (eto_charsel is empty) the dropdown list (within the layout) should be empty too, but it displays all materials (!).

Is it possible to display nothing (empty dropdown list box) in case that eto_charsel is empty?

Hello Eckhard,

empty selections always mean "everything" (with or without variable). If you don't want to select anything, simply return a single dummy material (or unassigned).
