Release Strategy

Hi freinds

I need a clarification with ref. to rel. strategy in RFQ and PO. I have created a release strategy with order type and values. The same is working for PO but not working for RFQ.

in the value tab for the order type characteristic hope u have maintained the document type AN for RFQ

For RFQ you will get release strategy on Saving RFQ..

The message even after i save is that the rfq is not subject to release strategy.

The Value will not be considered for RFQ..

Basing on Doc type only it will trigger ....

Remove the Value Characteristics form the RFQ Release Strategy..

The value feild will be necessary for POs. It can't be removed.

Create a class, and create two Release groups. These two release groups will have individual Release strategies.

Say PO and RF. Startegy PO for purchase order will have classification value maintained for Value and Document type and Strategy RF for RFQ will have classification value maintained for Document type alone.

The above paragraph is talking about doing config setting in "RElease Strategies" and working with detail screen while you have clicked on Classsification button inside
