Hi,
1) Download the latest Kernel from www.service.sap.com/swdc which corresponds to your OS & DB and transfer to your AIX system
2)uncar these new kernel files using SAPCAR(from AIX).
3) Stop SAP & DB.
4) Take a backup of existing kernel (backup /sapmnt/<sid>/exe)
5)copy the new kernel files to /sapmnt/<sid>/exe
6)Check the permissions of the copied files.
7)Start DB & SAP
8)Confirm the kernel release from System ->Status
Reward Points if it was helpfull.
Regards,
Sam
