Hi,

SD Transaction Code Flow:

Inquiry / Document type IN

Tcode for creation VA11,VA12,VA13. tables VBAK,VBAP

Quotation / QT

Tcode for creation VA21,VA22,VA23. tables VBAK,VBAP

Purchase Order PO

Tcode for creation ME21,ME22,ME23. tables EKKO,EKPO.

Sales Order OR

Delivery LF

Tcode for creation VL01,VL02,VL03. tables LIKP,LIPS

Billing MN

Tcode for creation VF01,VF02,VF03. tables VBRK,VBRP

To create a sales order we need purchase order number and custmer number. Before that, to create a purchase order we need to have material no, vendor no.

To create vendor tcode is

xk01(create), xk02(change) , xk03(display)

Tables are lfa1.

To create custmer tcode is xd01, xd02, xd03.

Table is kna1.

After creating sales order using this no we can create delivery note tcode is vl01.

regards,

Siddharth.

Hi,

Can some one give me the dataflow and overview of SAP SD

The SAP sales and distribution is part of the logistics module that support your customers, starting from quotations, sales order and all the way towards billing the customer. It is tightly integrated with the MM and PP functional modules. It allows companies to input their customer sales price, check for open orders and forecast etc.

The most important basic functional features in the sd module are:

- Pricing - Availability Check

- Credit Management - Material Determination

- Output Determination - Text Processing

- Tax Determination - Account Determination

It takes care primarily the various sales processes involved and how the distribution happens. The data would flow between FI,MM, PP and offcourse even the other modules just because in any business all the departments are linked may be from small to big way. We can MM and PP, along with FI are very much dependent on each other. Like what MM buys taking money/fund from FI turns into Account Receivables. And incase of PP what we sell are required to sell is provided by PP.

please take a look at these tables which describe the business SD Business flow.

[SD Business Flow|http://www.erpgenie.com/abap/tables_sd.htm]

Also to have a good understanding SD functionalities i suggest you to go through the sap library first. It gives you a lot of business context along sap functionality to match it.

Hope it helps you.
