XML Forms...

I have created an XML Form for News.

When I mention the "path to initially displayed folder" and "Path to root folder" to documents/News,it works.

but when I specify a different folder outside the "documents" folder,it displays the XML when I click on the News item.

I did the following.But still it did not work.

System Administration -> System Configuration -> Content-Management -> Repository Filters -> XML Forms Repository Filter Settings.

In there, there is a Entry called "xmlforms_filter" - edit it and try to add the repositories where your xml forms are located. After that you have to restart the servlet engine.

Could someone help me with this?

Thanks,

Sudha.

Hi Sudha,

You have to add your folder (the folder where you have placed your XML forms) at the following location:

System Administration -> System Configuration -> Content-Management -> Form-Based Publishing > Forms Availability > Folder Settings

Following is the documentation for the 'Folder Settings' area:

You may specify in which folders you want to offer which forms, so as to enable the associated applications. If the global setting is to offer all forms, you may specify which forms you want to exclude in a folder. Conversely, if the global setting is to offer no forms, you may specify which forms you want to include. You may use regular expressions when specifying forms.

hope this helps.
