Batch determination strategy help

Hello all

We need to ability to create a batch, before the receipt of inventory, and enter it into the production order.

I am currently getting an error

Invalid batch, does not match the selection criteria in batch determination.

Message no. 40 086

Diagnosis

The batch does not match the selection criteria defined for batch determination in the production or process order.

We need to change the batch determination strategy. I am not sure exactly what needs to be done. Is the problem due to creation of batch before receipt into stock.

Can the batch determination strategy work so that our batch can be created before actual receipt of the batch into stock
