CENVAT problem

Dear all

For a PO no :xxxxxx,

while making posting cenvat for material No.xxxxx, it show error "Material has not been declared as input material in".

kindly suggest in this,

hai,

maintain the material as a input material in Cenvat determination field in J1ID - Excise master data.

See this is due to the fact that Material is maintained for cenvat detenination in J1ID , Hence u can't take cenvat for this material unless u maintain this Material as input material for Cenvat det in Excise master ---> J1ID .Just go to J1ID ---> Select the radio button -

> fourth button from top ---" cenvat determination " ---> then click on Pencil icon on top left near to display icon , then a new screen opens ---> here click on new entries " & give all necessary details & save it now when u will do excise posting u will not face this error again , reward for efforts .

Hi,

Maintain "foreign Trade Import view in material master for the material giver the required detail like chapter id, assessable value etc.
