Hi,

When i tried to creat a cart from catalog, i am getting this info message

""You are not allowed to enter a tax jurisdiction code for country US ""..Its just information message.

we are not doing any taxes in SRM. all the tax calculation will be in ECC.

Any idea, how to stop this message from displaying..Is this something to do with maintenance of message tables?

Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks

Krish

Dear Krish,

In order to solve your issue, please follow these steps:

Insert in table BBPC_PDMSG, the following entry:

Area: TAX_TXJCD

Message: 105

Object type: BUS2121

Switch off: X

Then, in transaction BBPCMSG1, insert this entry in "Message Control" for BUS2121:

Message cl: TAX_TXJCD

Number: 105

Type: -

Normally, the message will not appear anymore at shopping cart creation.

Best regards,

Pascal Weber

I had the same issue.

Did what you said but the message still displays.

Nevermind, it works. Forgot to put in the '-' for the type.

Thanks a lot!

Don't forget to repeat whole procedure for BUS2203 - EC Confirmation Goods/Services

Otherwise you'll get the same success massage during confirmation.

HI Krishna,

Generally, Jurisdiction code is maintained at following location --

R/3 :

Tcode XK03 - CONTROL section (You have to check the vendor you have used in you cart)

You have to check with the customize settings you have done for this ...means you have not allowed it for US vendors to be maintained.

Please check if this information is helpful to you.

Hi,

Alternatively, you can try activating this option as well, since the message which you mentioned is "Success message".

SRM->SRM Server -> Cross app basic settings->Suppress Detailed Error or Success Messages

I believe this resolves.

Hi Renga/Imtiaz,

Thanks for your inputs.

However, i guess, suppressing error/success message funcitionality will be used in diff context..

I found that my error msg is coming from ECC msg class TAX_TXJCD. So Imtiaz solution also won't applicable here.

I need to check, whether i can suppress that msg in ECC level as my tax calculation is happening on external system.

Thanks

Hi,

I am positive this will work, Not sure you tried it.

Moreover, the message is in TAX_TXJCD and message number: 105, which can be customized in SRM application itself.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Renga
