Dear

check out the user group information in

SAP Easy Access Menu --- > system ---> user profile ---> own date

-

> choose parameters.

There you find parameter id UGR.

check for the value and define the same value while create infogroups, actions menu

As I understand your desired action is not displaying in PA40. To solve the issue go to following:

SAP IMG -> Personnel Management-> Personnel Administration -> Customizing

Procedures -> Actions -> Change action menu -> Select Action Menu (In the next screen type Menu Type as M and Menu as 01) Now, in the next screen you must have an entry with your User Group and your Action Number. If its missing add one.

If you want to know how to identify your User Group and your Action Number let me know.

Cheers!

hi sneha,

what sikindar said is really useful to u

but i think u are a fresher

if it is true

customize the following aspects

1. define user group / menu

2.action type

3.action reason

4.change action menu

5.user parameter

6.Maintain number ranges

7.Maintain features i.e . NUMKR, PINCH,IGMOD,ABKRS.

after maintaing each everything go to pa40 then u will get ur action type , perrome remaining actions

if still any proble

i have a document

plz give ur mail id i will send to u

all the best

hi,

did you change the user group.

in which user group did you create your action(actions are user group dependent)

check which user group you have specified.

change the settings to that user group. then it should come.

also check in the change in the action menu. in the sub screen give 01 and execute and see if your action is there. if not add it.

Hi Sikander,

After reading this thread, I have one clarification, is it mandatory to maintain feature IGMOD when we define Actions? My understanding is, it's only required when 'Actions' are company code, personnel area, employee group, employee subgroup dependent?

Please help me to understand this clearly ...rgds Tk
