Hi,

a SAP standard system in SPRO, Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management, Interfaces, Generate Interim Storage Bins contains any storage bin ?

SPRO, Logistics Execution, Warehouse Management, Activities, Transfers, Define Movement Types

Here you define which storage types and what stroage bins are hit in case of interim storage types. If it is not a dynamic bin, then you enter here the bin name.

In the other path you create these bins. because they were just names until this moment

Beeing there just click the blue button with the i for information. SAP explains it well for what this is used.

ok.....and when is better to use dynamic storage bin and when fixed storage bin ?

I don't see difference between them

The transaction for generating interim storgae bin is LX20. There there exists bins, in standard, the 900 range is for interim bins.

Hi,

Goods transfers in the WM system are processed by means of movement types. In the definition of the

movement types, it is possible to have interim storage bins addressed. you can have these bins generated automatically

Example:

According to the definition of the WM movement type 501 (GR without Purchase order), the material is posted to the material storage bin automatically.

If you do not want to use this option, you have to create the storage bins maually using

WM-Master Data-Storage Bin-Create-Manually
