How do we mass delete Planned ORders?

Hi,

Goto MD16 - collective display planned orders --> enter plant and MRP controller --> execute --> select list of all planned order --> click delete button

If you want to delete all the planned orders for a material , delete all the requirements & run MRP.

Hi All,

Thanks for the valuable input. I cant run MRP because table MDRS (ord reservation) contains 58million records. So MRP run is taking tooooooo long.

My goal is to delete the MDRS records. I believe these ord resrv are attached to planned ords. So my strategy is to delete Planned orders without running MRP (as to the reason that it takes hours just to run it and never ends anyway).

If you have any suggestions on how i can reduce MDRS records, please please please.. This is causing a huge huge huge problem.

Hi,

For this problem, first you reorganize your PIRs, then delete Planned Orders.

After MRP Run, system will not create any plnned order as there will not be any requirements..

Hi kumar

Why to delete plan orders. During MRP run if you choose - Delete and recreate plan order mode. Automatically the unwanted plan orders will be deleted and fresh required plan orders will be created.
