HI All,
How do we link a condition type to a condtion table . what is acess sequence and pricing procedure?
Thanks in Advance,
Neha
Hi,
we are linking Access sequence to condition types. Access sequence will have the condition tables associated with it. Condition tables will have fields.
First you create a table with the fields you require as the selection crieteria, then generate the table. Associate the table to an access sequence. Assign this access sequence to a condition type and place this condirion type in the pricing procedure.
Access Sequence : Combination of several accesses to condition records. The access sequence defines the order in which the system searches for condition records.
Pricing Procedure : Defines the conditions which are permitted for a particular document and the sequence in which the system takes these conditions into account during pricing.
A standard pricing procedure is defined in the standard version of the SAP system. It contains the conditions most commonly used. These include material prices as well as various discounts and surcharges (freight, tax).

Hi
Neha
Pricing Proceure means
You define the pricing procedures in this step. In addition, you assign
the pricing procedures to the transactions by defining the following
dependencies:
o Customer
o Sales document type
o Sales area
In the pricing procedure, you define which condition types should be
taken into account and in which sequence. During pricing, the SAP System
automatically determines which pricing procedure is valid for a business
transaction and it takes the condition types contained in it into account
one after the other.
The determination of the procedure depends on the following factors:
o Customer determination procedure
You specify the customer determination procedure in the customer
master record for each sales area.
o Document pricing procedure
You specify the document pricing procedure for each sales document
type and billing type.
To determine the procedure, you allocate the customer determination
procedure and the document pricing procedure to a pricing procedure
within a sales area.
U have to assign access sequance to your pricing condition and access sequance is nothing but the different level at which u want to maintian the pricing condition.
u can create conditon table through Tcode V/03 and use the same at the time of access sequance creation.
Hope this will help you.
Thx.

hi
How do we link a condition type to a condtion table
we are not assgining condition type to conditation table. We assign condition type to the access sequence to it and access seq is assgined to condition table
V/07 - create access sequence and assign the condition table to it.
V/06 - create the condition type and assign the access sequence to it.
what is acess sequence and pricing procedure
The access sequence is a search strategy which the SAP System uses to search for condition records valid for a condition type.
For example, you can define for a price that the SAP System first searches for a customer-specific price and then for a price list price.
Maintain the accesses for the access sequence by specifying the condition tables in the desired sequence. With the sequence, you define the priority of the accesses. You can display combinations of key fields using possible entries.
Example
In pricing, you use a customer-material discount. The condition records you create are based on customer data from the document header and material data from each document item. The discount is only valid for 2% of your customers, however. Normally, this would mean that the system would needlessly search through every available item for 98% of your customers. In this case, prestep would improve system performance.
The pricing procedure defines the conditions permitted for a document and the sequence in which the system takes these conditions into account during pricing.
A standard pricing procedure is defined in the standard SAP system. It contains conditions most commonly used. These include material prices, discounts, and surcharges, such as freight, or tax.
To Calculate various Components of Final Price
To Calculate relevant Tax
To Pass on the Financial Entries to Accounting
To Facilitate Accruals of various components of Price / Discount
To assign relevant components of pricing to various sub modules like Credit Control , Cost , Rebate Basis etc.
Hope this will help you
