Reservation is like advance booking for a stock material. It will inform the warehouse that so and so material is required for user department on so and so date. This requirement of user department can be included in materials planning so as to make sure that the material is made available on the required date.
Whenever user department requires the material, they will give reference of this rerservation to warehouse and goods will be issued with ref to this reservation
