Hi,
SLCA_LCK_SYNCHOWNERS : This standard job is only necessary for SCM and for the liveCache lock server
If you do not use the liveCache lock server, simply deallocate the SLCA_LCK_SYNCHOWNERS standard job again.
check Note 931436 - SLCA_LCK_SYNCHOWNERS standard job terminates.
when you execute SM50 it's call function pool SAPLTHFB. so it's showing in SM50 under user name who execute SM50.

Dear Mr. Kaushal,
We are basically end-user of Solution Manager. In my Solution Manager it is reporting the same error SLCA_LCK_SYNCHOWNERS failed and says live cache lock server not installed. We are using Solman 7.0 Ehp1 SP28.
We are using only service Desk functionality of Solution Manager.
Do we need this process? If yes then how to set this right. If not then how to disable it. Since we are from BOBJ background we are not well versed with T codes and notes mentioned did not make much head-n-tail for us.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
Piyush
Can u tell the SCM Version you are using. Because if you are using SCM 2005 then please check this note
Note 829963 - Enhancements for liveCache Applications Release LCApps 2005
Also check this note Note 816730 - Lock server based on SAP liveCache technology
