PV7I and PV8I IAC iview error

Hi EP gurus,

In ESS 600 we don't have training tab, so i have used ECC service PV7I and PV8I in portal. I have created IAC iview for these two services. In backend i am using a userid 'PATILVV' in the logon tab for configuring the service. This userid has SAP ALL authorization. This same ID is used in EP, and it has full authorization i mean admin rights in EP also.

For this 2 IAC iview's in EP i have created a separate role i.e 'TRAINING'. I have attached this role to the user 'PATILVV', he is able to access the IAC iview's. No issues for this user.

When i create a separate user in EP who has only ESS, MSS and TRAINING role he is not able to access this 2 IAC iview's. This user is also having SAP ALL authorization in backend. For this end user I am getting the following error in Portal.

When i scan through the logs in EP server i found that it says 'An error occured in iView: N/A in component: N/A'

I have pasted both the logs of EP as well as J2EE Log for the reference in the following lines.

Please help.

When i checked the log it gave the following error..

I need to configure Training and Event Management.

The following services I need to configure in my Portal:

- Training request

- Appraisal documents for performance feedback

- Tracking Feedback processes

Pls help me in configuring these services.

Can u tell me are u functional or technical.

If functional i ll ask my functional to give configuration steps what we did here.

In EP got to System Admin -> System Config -> system landscape -> open Portal content folder -> right click the system name whcih ur accessing -> open -> object -> in the display object select permissions -> search everyone group -> ADD -> give read permission -> select end user checkbox -> save .

If possible restart J2EE server and then try again.

now again check it wont give u error.

if u were able to solve this please reply.

Worked for me... Thanks.....

If group everyone group already exists in system object's permissions.... remove groups and re-assign "Read" & "end user".

I advice the the Serve Cache is cleared and probably restart J2EE server.
