Hi

It depends on

Their business process, Client/project Requirement, , Their org structure, Their different company & plants and their locations, No of users, Is that single stage or multi stage implementation.. like so many factor affecting to specify the implementation period.

Generally we can say it will be 3 to 6 months on an average...n its rough estimate.

Also if u know the All-In-One (AIO) kind of project.. the solutions are preconfigured with the best practice of the particular business is mapped in SAP n the same will be provided to client..

Here the duration of implementation is maximum of One Week.

how many work days does a week have for you?

If one talks about week or months, then usually the full amount of workdays is meant.

otherwise I would say I need 40 workdays, without specifying how many month this will take.

If I just work Mondays and then only 2 hours........ then you can calcualte how many months it will take.

There are that many factors that influence the time needed for an implementation...one has to know this to give an estimate.

What do you think if I tell you now that we have implemented full MM, SD, LE and FI in Singpore within 25 working days in total. not 25 days each module, all modules, including training data migation and go-live support.

I would say you are not telling the truth.

I really doubt it. What was the company role? A bakery?

Hii,

Implementation of ERP is the combination/linkage/ integration of all modules. SAP MM is linked to several other modules Eg: It is linked with APO, prodution & planning, Mainly FICO, S&D like that. it is all depends on the company who is implementing which

modules. Now comes to implementaton duration of SAP MM.

1. Based on the other Modules which is linked with SAP MM (which i have highlited earlier).

2. Based on the Client requirment (Business Process of the client)

3. Based on the geographical wide(i mean in where all the countries the implementation has to be done)

4. Based on the client cooperation while implementing, this is one of the foremost step for sucessful implemetnation else failures are result.

5.Depends on the enterprise structure (no foc compay code for implemenating in a single country)

So it is all depends on various factors to complete the implemenation. there is no such fixed period for implemenation.

if it is helpful for u, reward points.

Its depends on the organization and users. First you need to get Business process from the users once you got the process then you can MAP in SAP max 6 months for any industry. FICO should exist before doing MM.

depending on the oeganization structure, implementation time varies.

for example if u go for the mid size companies. it takes about 4-6 months to complete whole sap implementation.

so u need to look at the org structure and the business process they r following ..

feel free to contact for further infomation if required..
