In addition to the other points mentioned here,

- BPR is the easiest way to construct SOLAR01 structure, especially, if the project does not have its own 'pre-defined' vocabulory and content that goes with it

- What is chosen in SOLAR01 also populates other SOLAR02 relevant Tabs (e.g. Config Tab) wherever SAP has supplied conent

- BPR is also useful in Solution Landscape construction stage, if it's a case where the project has already gone into a support stage.

Hi,

Here is an another way to look at the BPR-Business Process Repository delivered by SAP.

1. Add the Web Dynpro application Business Process Repository (BPR) to your Favorites:

2. Choose Favorites Add Other Objects Web Dynpro Application in the SAP initial screen.

3. Enter SM_BPR_OVERVIEW in the field Web Dynpro Application.

4. Enter a description like ex. SAP BPR

5. Save your changes.

6. Now Call the saved - Web Dynpro application SM_BPR_OVERVIEW

7. You can see the BPR in a new browser window.

This info is available in SAP Help on Solution Manager.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

The Business Process Repository (BPR) is the list of proceses and SAP transactions to all those processes and process steps that exist in the related SAP product.

You need to have the most updated versions and patches from SAP to have it.

A user can access the BPR by going into SOALR01 and then on the structure tab seelct the soruce as BPR and then you would have access to select what you want for your project.
