New inbound delivery type creation???

Hi,

May I create a new inbound delivery type instead the standard EL?

If not, which enhancement can be used to change the item category ELN to another self-defined category during inbound delivery creation via VL31N?

Kindly please advise.

Hi

yes you can create a new Inbound delivery & change the Item category

Create new inboun delivery type in

SPRO-> IMG-> Logistics Execution-> Shipping-> Deliveries-> Define Delivery Types

Maintain the Combination of Item category & delivery type in

SPRO-> IMG-> Logistics Execution-> Shipping-> Deliveries->Define Item Category Determination in Deliveries

The problem is, how to link this new inbound delivery type to "confirmation control key " indirectly? LA is assigned to the confirmation key in the confirmation sequence.

Hi

LA - Inbound delivery is the Confirmation Category -Key denoting the nature of the confirmation.

you need to assign the Delivery type to the Confirmation Category in Config of Define Internal Confirmation Categories

EL - Is already assigend , you need to replace that with your Delivery type.

We want to keep the old one, and create a new one:

(1) LA --> EL

(2) Y1 ---> ZEL

Is it possible to have two or more different inbound delivery type?

SAO sytem is not providing that feature of maintaining more than one delivery type for Inbound delivery.
