Workflow Triggering

Former Member

Hi ,

we have a workflow in place which has a triggering event: BSEG-CREATED .

Now my new requirement(i.e a new workflow) also needs BSEG-CREATED event as triggering event.

Issue here is both workflows are triggering, if I trigger any of the workflow.

How to avoid triggering both the workflows ?

Appreciate your help.

Thank you

Lalith

Hello,

I suppose you mean then either 1 of them has to start. In my opinion you can do this with starting conditions (tx SWB_COND) in here you can define which workflow starts on an event.

If you mean that 1 workflow only has to run you have to deactivate the eventlinkage for the worklow which not has to run. You can to this via tx SWETYPV or via tx PFWS and then in the tab events deactivate the event linkage.

Kind regards,

Peter

Hello,

What is the criteria for the workflow to start for?

You maybe can use a field in the bseg table to make this seperation, or maybe you have to program the logic.

Let me know what the criteria is to start either one of them.
