We have opened an OSS HTTP connection to our ERP development server but while SAP is trying to connect,it gives the following error:
SAP Web Proxy: destination server not reachable
DESTINATION PORT: 3299
LOCATION: SapRouter on torsbid01
ERROR: torsbid01: route permission denied (188.8.131.52 to torsr3d02.cpr.ca, 8000)
TIME: Mon Jul 21 04:38:16 2008
looks like you are trying to establish a connection from 184.108.40.206 to torsr3d02 on port 8000 via SAP Router on torsbid01 and this connection is not allowed. So add an entry in your routtab on torsbid01 to allow this connection.
Should look something like this:
P * torsr3d02 8000
P 220.127.116.11 torsr3d02 8000
Note that if you have a single router the Service (Port) may not be replaced by a Wildcard (*) so the following will not work if you only have one router or if you use it on your last router if you have more than one (see help.sap.com)
P * torsr3d02 *
Hope this helps
no if it were not open you should a message like "Connection refused".
If you have a direct connection you can check if the port is open using telnet.
Goto the source machine and type:
telnet destinationhost/or IP port
telnet torsr3d02 8000
Do you have any other entries in the same router that are working???
