automatic Firmed PRs

Dear Gurus,

My requirement is After running MRP,PRs will be generated.As per the client's requirement it should be firmed after MRP run.But it will be firmed if i do any changes in PR,automatically fixed ID indicater is checked.which in turns become a firmed PR.In simple terms after MRP i should get Firmed PRs.so that even i delete the demad in MD62.MRP wont erase the PRs.what setting I have to use?

Hi,

Try with the MRP Type with P1/2/3/4 and Planning Time in Material Master -MRP1 View..

Dear Shiva/Brahmakumar,

In my scenario I have to delete the demand in MD62 after MRP run.After Deleting If i run MRP.the PR vanishes.I want Only The PRS should be firmed PRS as a output of MRP Run,Please help

Hi,

Onece the PR is firmed, then if you delete the PIR in MD62 also, system will not disturb th Master Plan.

What i the MRP Type you have used and What is the Planning Time Fence Mmaintained??

Hi,

If you deleted the demand in MD62 after MRP run if PR are firmed it will not get disturb.

Please try and come back.

I do agree if the PR is Firmed,MRP wont disturb.But my requirement is I should get Firmed PRs after MRP run.Please help me to sort out this issue

Hi Guna,

If you maintain say MRP Type : P1 and Planning Time Fence say 7days..

Then immediately after MRP Run, System will create Firmed planned Orders..

This is based on the PIRs created in MD61.

You can see that Planned Orders will be Firmed with * mark in MD04.

Now, if you delete the PIRs in MD62 also, in the Next MRP Run, system will not disturb the Planned Orders..

Hi Guna,

Hope u r using MRP Type either from P1 to P4.......

In MRP 1 View, maintain planning time fence and hence no automatic changes will be made during planning time fence

Check and revert

Note: For this u must be using MRP Type which allows firming.
