Error while creating PR

Below is the error while creating a PR.

Plz suggest.

Period 005/Fiscal Year 2008 for not open for FM posting in value type 50

Message no. FI_E018

Diagnosis

Posting for the document of value type 50 was attempted on a date that has not been opened in FM.

Procedure

To define open time intervals for FM postings, use the following transactions:

Individual Maintenance of Open Time Intervals

Mass Maintenance of Open Time Intervals

Go to Trxn code FMIR and Input the Following:

Budget Category

Year 2008

*Valuation Type as( *) *

Account Assignment Elements as All Acct Assts

Value as ( )*

From field as 01

To Field as 16 (if Configured 12 Normal Posting Periods and 4 Special Posting Periods)

Stuck at FMIR while entries From field as 01

To Field as 16

No update profile assigned to FM area

Message no. FI008

Diagnosis

Before entering actual data for an FM area, you must assign an update profile to FM area .

System Response

The document cannot be posted.

Procedure

Assign an update profile to FM area . Do this using transaction Assign update profile to FM area.

Go to SPRO - Public Sector Management - Fund Management Government - Actual and Committment / Upgradation - General Settings - Assign Update Profile to FM area Or Use Trxn code OF37 and assign Update Profile to FM area and Save.

Hi Ashok,

That has been already done.

Go to OB29 and Check Whether Fiscal Year Variant is V3 and Checl also No of Posting Periods & no of Special Posting Periods.

You should give from & to Fields as per Fiscal year Variants Posting Periods.

Then Go to FMIR Trxn code and give Budget Category as 9A Payment Budget and save

Hi,

Go to FMIR - For Individual maintenance of Open Time Intervals, enter FM Area

Here maintain FM Area, Budget Category, Fiscal Year, Val. Type, Account Assign Element, Value and Save.

And Use FMMI - For Mass Maintenance of Open Time Intervals
