Hi,

Bank statement is comming type MT940 format. can you send me one sample of MT940 format .and in this format any attribute like TAG 25 which indicates account number??kindly let me know.

Hi,

What is the value contained in :25:? Is it the bank code or the account number? I have seen specification where :25: appears as BankCode/Account Number. What does the field contain when there is no separator?

TAG indicating size of field, find the below mentioned MT940 strucutre, it is standard format and SAP can unerstand only this format

where you can find info about the diferent tags, messages, etc. It may be usefull once you have the messages and you want to get really deep into the tags.
