In case you missed the news, openSAP is hosting a brand new course starting February 24. It's called Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud - 2016 Edition and is the latest end-to-end hands-on walkthrough for how to design and develop your own Fiori app using free tools in the cloud (via SAP HANA Cloud Platform). In fact, the whole course is free and open to the public. You just sign up here and pick any 3-4 hours per week to watch the lectures and complete the assignments.

It's been put together in a way that allows anyone to join regardless of your background or experience. All you need is a few hours per week and the desire to learn. AND, as part of the course, you'll participate in design and develop challenges, receive peer feedback, and have a chance to win an Apple iPad Pro. The top three apps will be the winners (more details will be explained when the course starts).

And what if you're an SAP Partner participating? Well, we've decided to award the top 3 SAP Partner apps $1,500 in Marketing Development Funding (MDF). Read all about MDF here; it's basically funds from SAP to help you grow and get the word out about your business. And remember, as an SAP Partner, you are also still eligible for the iPad prize too. But this additional extra bonus prize is exclusively for SAP Partners.

While these prizes and competitions can make an already fun experience that much more engaging, we're really just excited in general to bring you the latest and greatest details on topics like SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA, SAP Splash, Build, Fiori 2.0, design thinking, and more. Once you complete this course, you'll have your first app as a take away and will be well on your way to creating delightful experiences for your end users.

If you're an SAP Partner and interested in more details, come join our SAP PartnerEdge Jump Start session on February 3 to learn more. We'll be walking through what you can expect from the course and will give you a sneak peek into some of the tools we'll be using with some hands-on fun. In fact, check out the SAP Fiori Learning Room to see more about what we'll be doing for this session.

As always, feel free to comment below if you have any questions. Hope to see you in the SAP Partner Jump Start session and in the course itself!
