[January 18th update: the ramp up nomination process is now closed, we are now working with the existing early customers. Stay tuned, the Generally Available release should be available in 10 to 15 weeks.]

After 2 months of successful beta and customer validation, the BI 4.2 release is ready to enter Ramp up in the next few weeks.

There are a number of long awaited features in the 4.2 release, such as the comments within WebI documents, the parallelization of queries for improved performance, the direct access to HANA, or the authored universe on a BEx query. This is a only sample of the new WebI features, but the BI platform also packs many enhancements that will make it easier to run your BI deployment. For a full overview of the 4.2, you can get different levels of detail in the excellent presentations from Merlijn Ekkel

You can apply for ramp up on the SAP Service Marketplace at this Enrollment link.

We are looking for a limited number of customers, who have project timelines that roughly coincide with end of February 2016 to go live, for at least a portion of your project. By participating to the ramp up, you will be among the early adopters and will enjoy a privileged access to product experts and developers, and the help of a dedicated Ramp-Up team who will give priority attention to your project, with a successful go live as our main goal.
