Question and Answer

Q: Just to clearly understand, the UNX connection capability... is not currently supported by Lumira now, but is available with an extension package from a SAP partner. And it's planned in the near future to be a native feature, right?

A: it is an sap extension. Planned very near future.

Q: How move to BI4?

A: Do a save as to BI Platform; when add-on is installed (coming in Q2) – when click on Lumira document you will open in a viewer experience depending on rights

For BI-add-on BI4.1 SP5 prerequisite; HANA Is not required

Q: Which license

A: This is part of the BI Suite License

If BI Edge – then it is an additional license cost

Support for tools for the life of the platform

Q: BW support?

A: BEx query support is coming in the middle of the year

Q: Connectors?  Google Analytics

A: constantly adding connectors can also look to partners for this

Q: Velocity?

A: this is not HANA, not Microsoft – it is embedded on desktop and server editions; run on existing – it is a lightweight in memory engine
