SAP BW/4HANA in a Nutshell
SAP has just announced SAP BW/4HANA, the next generation of SAP Business Warehouse powered by SAP HANA. SAP BW/4HANA is designed to run on SAP HANA only and delivers new levels of simplicity for building and operating data warehouse solutions with flexible data management.
SAP BW/4HANA in a Nutshell will provide a high-level overview of SAP BW/4HANA. You will learn about the value proposition of SAP BW/4HANA as well as getting the chance to view some system demos which will cover some of the major functional aspects. If you’re an existing customer running SAP Business Warehouse powered by SAP HANA, you will learn about the migration path you should take if you choose to move to SAP BW/4HANA. SAP BW/4HANA in a Nutshell starts from November 8 and will take just 2-3 hours for you to complete. The course will stay open for 10 weeks so you have until January 2017 to learn about this latest SAP offering.t capabilities in a modernized user experience. Semantic Notation - the Next Big Thing in BI?
We are delighted to announce the next course in our openSAP Thought Leaders series, Semantic Notation – the Next Big Thing in BI? Throughout centuries and decades, standardized guidelines have been introduced across a variety of fields to ensure a global understanding. We see this in the writing of music, where notes have been standardized and similarly, road signs globally are aligned to ensure that everyone has a common understanding.
With digital transformation and the growing importance of analytics in business, there was a need for standards and guidelines across business communication. In 2013, the non-profit International Business Communication Standards (IBCS) Association was founded in order to develop such an international standard, free and open available to interested users, consultants and software developers. With this openSAP Thought Leaders course, Semantic Notation – the Next Big Thing in BI?, you will learn how to add a new semantic notation to already accepted conceptual and perceptual rules for the creation of reports, presentations, and dashboards. The resulting visual language has the potential to become an International Business Communication Standard (IBCS®).
Semantic Notation – the Next Big Thing in BI? starts on the openSAP Thought Leaders channel from October 11 and runs over a two week period. To earn a Record of Achievement, learners will need to successfully complete a course assignment.
