17 international full-time students from University of Mannheim visited the SAP`s Headquarters on May 12, 2016. The student group was accompanied by Ms. Kammerer from the International Office at the University of Mannheim who supervises international students.
After welcoming our visitors, a presentation about SAP in general, the location here in Walldorf and an overview about our department SAP University Alliances was given by my colleague Andrea Tvarusko and me. At the SAP Inspiration Pavilion, the students learned more about the history of SAP and experienced firsthand the manifold faces of Big Data. The visitors got to know how data is affecting our lives today and its enormous potential for the future. Before a common lunch the students joined a tour through our campus which has a net floor of 400,000 square meters.
