SAP University Alliances CIS organized a 2-days Event at St. Petersburg State University of IT, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO U).
ITMO U is the only University in the world six times absolute winner of the ACM World Programming Contest.
The theme of the Event – Big Data and IoT – was proposed by SAP CIS Platforms Director Dmitry Shepelyavy.
SAP Demo Day for selected Startups from ITMO Business Incubator started with startups presentations and followed by live demos and presentations on SAP startup support programs and SAP Data Genius Contest (Igor Belousov), IoT (Denis Savkin), HANA Cloud Platform (Sergey Kuzin), Predictive Analytics (Mikhail Avetisov) and Mobility (Evgeniy Simonovich). During Design Thinking sessions we defined several startups which could make great progress using SAP HCP, Analytics, IoT solutions and will help them on this way (in particular the startups on smart logistics, CRM, smart vending machines and image-based fraud analysis).
SAP Technology Day organized at the main building of ITMO U attracted 100+ students and professors interested in SAP technologies. In addition to the presentations on the above topics we also run Career Orientations session for students and invited them to apply for open graduate positions at SAP Labs St. Petersburg.
This Event at ITMO U will help to promote SAP HANA, Analytics, IoT, Mobility and Augmented Reality solutions as well as help in sales process, PR and recruiting activities.
