Hi experts,
I recreate an SAP B1 Installation on my laptop by restoring a copy of the database.I am trying to view a print layout but I keep getting the above error message. Do you have any ideas about a possible work around.
Thanks in anticipation of yourhelp.
Regards
Chike
I'm getting this error also but only two users of twenty.
Only in the Sales Order, drafts and deliveries when I click on print or print preview.
I change to a different user on same computer it works fine.

Hi Chike,
This error occurs if:
a) no printer is installed on the Workstation
b) no default printer set in Windows
c) printer installation is corrupt
Even if you only want to Preview a Document or Report, a Default Printer needs to be assigned!
Please ensure that Business One can recognize a Default Printer in the System.
Please refer to SAP note no. [851046|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1odSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=851046].
hope it helps,

Hi,
As you suggested you have restored the database on to your Laptop, check if default printer is givven correctly in the document properties of that PLD.
also select all fields of the PLD even hidden fields then in the Format tab of Properties window tick mark
Block Overall Font Change
sometimes the font type might not be present in you current laptop.
regards,
Shreyas
