Can you please anybody give me the differnece between special procurement type 40 and 80?
Dear,
With both the keys you have to define two plants; Planning plant and Issuing Plant - 40
Planning Plant and Production Plant - 80
You have to create the material in one plant and extend to other plant.
With special procurement key 40, the requirement is passed to the issuing plant. For example if you create a sales order in the planning plant and run MRP, then a planned order/purchase requisition is created automatically in the issuing plant based on the procurement type given in the material master in the issuing plant. Then you have to delever the stock from the issuing plant to planning plant with transaction VL10B and GR against Stock Transport Order in the planning plant.
But with special procurement key 80,
The requirement is trasferred from planning plant to production plant, and when you do GR against production order in the production plant, the stock is updated in the planning plant directly.
Please come back if you have any issues.
Regards,
Prasad

Hi Prasad:
I have this scenario:
Planning Plant AC03 - Special procurement key 80
Production Plant AC02
Run MPS generated planned order in planning plant AC02 and GR against production order updated stock in the planning plant directly but i required that wil be in production plant AC02.
Why?, Because:
1. Transfer from Production Plant to Planning Plant required a form called "Guia de Remision".
2. We have configured QM Batch inspection in production plant.
Please, your comment and recomendations,
Thanks in advance
César.
