Hi Sergio

Please check whether j2ee_admin in client 001 is locked or not.

If locked, unlock it restart the j2ee server through SMICM.

If not locked, use the configtool to connect to the system, if any errors please let us know.

Hi Sergio,

Try to execute JSPM using

jcmon pf=<instance profile path>

Also are the value (like port number and all correct) ?

Are you able to open telnet command (telnet <hostname> 5<instance number>08

Hi,

Tell me the following deatils,

1) Your system is ABAP+JAVA or single JAVA System?

If it is ABAP+JAVA then use j2ee_admin user to connect to Visual Admin. If it is Only Java system then use Administrator user.

2) What is the OS platform? Windows or UNIX , AIX?

If it is windows then check the Java Instance availability using MMC.

If it is UNIX or AIX then use jcmon pf=/usr/sap/SID/SYS/profile/instance profile name from os prompt

Thanks,

Sudip...

Hi,

As you said your os is windows. You can check the MMC whether your java system is up and running or not.

To connect to visual admin first make sure you have java alone or abap+java stack you can find this in MMC.

If you have stand alone java then you have to use "Administrator" user id.

If you hava abap+java then you have to use "j2ee_admin".

Also you have to mention the port as 5xx04 and also host as local host.

jcmon is not an abap tool is an executable that you can use at OS level to check that all the java services are running.
