Prompt.dll Error code: 0x8004380D

Hi,

I mighrated crytal reports from dev to test . the report is working fine in dev but not in test with this error

"Prompting failed with the following error message:'LOV failure:fail to get values

Error soruce:prompt.dll Error code :0x8004380D

Pls help me to fix this issue.

Hi Reddy

Have you created the List Of Value in Business View Manager?

If yes then this could be the posbile reason for the same:

There is a firewall between Crystal Reports and BusinessObjects Enterprise XI that is preventing the LOV from bringing back the data.To resolve the same just turn off or disable the firewall.

Thanks to everybody.

After my deep research i found there are some repository objects missing in the BAIR file.

I just created new BAIR file and then imported to new environment . Now all the .rpt files is in and my report is working fine.

What's the version of crystal reports and the business objects enterprise?

did you verify the database when you moved the report to connect to the new db?

Yes , My dashboard reports and some crystal reports are working fine
