hi all,
Im looking for a solution for following problem:
Some of my colleagues use SAP GUI 7.10 with old classic design.
Actualy I dont know, how to disable the sounds coming up when clicking on certain
button or something.
Would they use new visual design or signature design it would be no problem.
Hope, somebody can help.
Best regards
Davor
thank you for your answer.
As I already mentioned, some are running GUI 7.10 but with classic design. So the button "New Visual Design" in the options-tab is not provided.
I now found a Reg-Key which can be set to turn off sounds.

I know this is an old post, but it's the first that comes up in a web search for turning off sounds in the SAP GUI.
Here's how to turn off sounds in the newer SAP GUI 730:
1. Click the Customize Local Layout icon in the toolbar, then Options...
2. Expand "Interaction Design", click "Sound Settings"
3. Uncheck "Activate audio signal"
4. Click Apply, then OK
Hope this helps someone.

Try this:
To turn off the sound effects in the SAP Gui, click on the Customizing of local layout icon on the far right of the SAP toolbar. (This is the same icon that you use to print a Hardcopy of the screen.) Select New Visual Design from the dropdown menu. On the General tab, there is a section titled Sound. Click the Off button and then click OK.

Or
When you ran sapgui there will be an icon in taskbar "GUI Settings". Here you can turn off the "animationn" and the "sound". Hope this helps
