Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://llneccdev:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/appl_soap_management call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system LLD with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Also make sure that all required services are enabled.

Activate these services:

/sap/bc/srt

/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/appl_soap_management

/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro

     Note that, in this case, you should activate only the node itself, not the subnodes

     This node is automatically activated when you activate the subnodes described below. Similarly, in this case, you must activate only the node itself and the following subnodes:

- /default_host/sap/public/bc/ur

- /default_host/sap/public/bc/icons

- /default_host/sap/public/bc/icons_rtl

- /default_host/sap/public/bc/webicons

Hi,

Looks like your issue is related with Fully qulify domain name. Please set icm/host_name_full parameter proprly.

e.g servername.<domin name>.come

e.g xyz.test.com

Hello Tao,

it seems as if you service is not activated.

Go to SICF and then follow the path sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/appl_soap_management

Right click on appl_soap_management and activate the service

Then try using the URL,it should work

but when I input my user name and password, there occurs another error:

i can use the trasaction now. thanks a lot! you are so kind. But when i use SOA MANAGEMENT to test a web service, an error mesage occurred "J2EE host or port not specified; define them under "System Settings" , would you please tell how to solve it?

You need maintian j2ee engine hostname and http port information in the Global System settings in the Soamanager url

Details steps:

Go to the Technical Configuration tab.

Choose System Global Settings.

An overview if configuration information is displayed.

Go to the Central WS Administration Access tab.

Choose Edit / Display.

Specify the host of the central NetWeaver Administrator and the HTTP port number used by the NetWeaver Administrator.

Save.
