Error Creating Control - CrystalReportSource1

Hi, I have VWD2005 in Windows Vista, with CR2008 SP1 installed. After adding the CR controls for .net2 in the toolbox (CrystalReportSource and CrystalReportViewer), trying to use CrystalReportSource in a web form gives the following error:

Error Creating Control - CrystalReportSource1. Failed to create designer 'CrystalDecisions.Web.Design.Microsoft.ReportSourceDesigner, CrystalDecisions.VSDesigner, Version = 12.0.2000.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken= 692fbea5521e1304'.

This means I can't use any report created with Crystal Reports to be showed on a web page in a .net application.

I have used another installation with Windows XP, VWD2005 and CR2008 SP0 and it works fine.

Hi Antonio,

Check the version of CrystalReportViewer.

Try to run sample application and see if this works:

or

[https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/samples]
