Date Profile error in Service confirmation

Dear Gurus,

I have created service confirmation from service order. Data is getting copied properly. But I am getting errors regarding Date profile not assigned either at header/itemcategory error. Below is the exact error:

No date profile assigned to the transaction/item category (Message no. CRM_BILLING015)

It further says that :

Assign a date profile to the transaction type or item category in Customizing.

Make sure that this date profile contains all the necessary date types:

BILL_DATE

INVCR_DATE

I have used all standards (confirmation type and confirmation item category type) and re-checked that both the date types are there in the profiles assigned to confirmation header and item category. We are in CRM2007

Please suggest me.

Hi Rajesh,

Kindly check if you have assigned date rules to the date types mentioned.

BILL_DATE

INVCR_DATE

If not, assign it and try creating a new order and confirmation.

pls revert if not successful

Even i faced the same issue..Go to the date profile --> to the date types Bill_Date & INV...mostly the date rules would be the same for both the date types..if it is SAP std then the date rule assigned would be TODAY.. go to the date rule TODAY and go to the details... just double click on the line and the system would update the date rule in the background for couple of seconds...Once that is done the error should disappear when you create the service confirmation
