The object is not assigned to package my new ZPACKAGE in enhancement

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I am new to CRM. I am trying to create enhancement in BSP component workbench.

I created enhancement in sm34 and assigned to client in sm30.

I enhanced my component using my enhancement set. I entered name of the custom BSP application name and repository name as default. Finally it is asking to save in package. I entered my new z package to save.

Here I am getting error like SAP object WAPA INCI_APP cannot be assigne to package ZCRM_TESTPACK. Here I clicked on F1 help. Its showing below information

Diagnosis

Object WAPA INCIDENT_APP is in the name range reserved for SAP. The object cannot be assigned to package ZWESCRM_TESTPACKAGE, since it belongs to a different name range or namespace.

System Response

Editing is terminated.

Procedure

Assign the object to an SAP package whose name begins with A-S or U-X.

If you want to create the object as a test object, you can also assign it to a local package (1st character = $) or a test package (1st character = T).

Please suggest me to proceed further.

Thanks

Ruby

Hello Ruby,

I was not able to find the view INCI_APP in the component BT137I_SCN. Are you sure you can see anything like "INCI_APP" in the transaction bsp_wd_cmpwb?

Also what was the BSP application name you gave while enhancing the component?

regards,

Brishketu

The error was WAPA CONT_APP cannot be assigned to package ZCRM_TESTPACK(this error is for the component BT137I_SCN)

Here BSP application name is CONT_APP.

Thanks

Hello Ruby,

The BSP Application name "CONT_APP" can't be copied to your enhancement. It must start with "Z".
